About Kings_Knight
Okay ... you can quit restraining yourself from contacting me at this very moment. Seriously, I'd really like to find just one special lady to share the rest of this life with. My daughter is grown and has her own family now, so I get to play grandfather when I visit. There's still a lot of 'me' time.
I'm pretty basic. What you see really is what you get. I don't (actually, it's can't) dance; can't swim; I burn instead of tan; don't ride motorcycles since nearly killing myself on one; and, in general, avoid sports altogether. I run a 'sports-free' house. I never did understand why I should want to keep some odd-shaped ball ten or so other people don't want me to have.
When I go out, I dislike feeling I've been ripped off after the experience (e.g., some movies or restaurants). I don't need 'outside entertainment' as a displacement activity. I prefer being at home. When I do got out, tho', I like to have the lady in my life with me 'cuz I enjoy her company and love holding her hand. I'm silly like that ...
Cooking is second nature. I'm pretty good, but not a chef. Most of my dishes use chicken or pork since they're 'healthy'. I've pretty much given up red meat, and fish / seafood digest too quickly, which means I'm hungry again in a half-hour. I don't bake. I stick to cooking. Cooking is seasoning; baking is chemistry.
All that being said, I'd like to make your acquaintance if you're interested in seeing where things may lead. We've been around long enough to know after a first meeting if it's something we'd like to investigate further. If so, that's good; and, if not, that's good too ... we'll have found out first-hand. We may just remain friends - that's good, too. We'll never know unless and until we meet, tho' ...
If you're married or separated - but not divorced - keep looking. I will not be named a 'co-respondent' in your messy legal battle. I've been divorced for 23 years, and have no intention of re-marrying. If marriage is your goal, again, keep looking. Please have a recent photo in your profile ... you can see what I look like - I want the same courtesy. If you enjoy 'recreational drugs', smoke, or require alcohol on a daily basis, again, keep looking. Finally, if you think Obama is the best thing since sliced bread, share that joy with others who believe the same thing - I don't support him or his attempts to destroy my country.
As for the distance I'll travel, 20 to 25 miles is about tops. Closer is better.
First date? Conventional wisdom says we should never watch someone eat - so does that mean dinner or lunch is ruled out? Not in my world. I know which fork to use. I prefer simple to fancy, reasonable to expensive, and good to 'not good'. That applies to everything - it's not limited to just a dining experience. I guess taking a shower together is a 'second date' kind of thing, right ... ?
If you've gotten this far and still aren't discouraged, there may be some commonalities we share. Wanna talk about it?
