goddess of fertility


A diplomat she was born to be
Standing firm,her motto,her creed
She keeps calm when there is strife
Seeking nothing but the truth
She is Hera, Goddess of youth


The odds may be against her sometimes
In her quest for fulfillment
her zest hardly declines
A tapestry of resourcefullness

Once held I within my hand
The keys to all this promised land
I sequented life in the passing years
and put to rest unfounded fears

Somewhere in time and ages

Sweet clarity accompanied my youth

Branches, stripped bare of foliage
wind adds strength to the carnage
Icy fingers cling to naked twigs
with reflections mirrored in pools
silent, still and limpid
Winter wears her coat of shingled finery
A gray sky keeps the sun in captivity

The cold of night turns new pages
Howling winds over the horizon rages
decrescent moon in the heavens bright
keeping guard o'er a frosty night
Winter's bridal veil of white
stretches far into the night
claiming land and sea and skies
While daylight's fragile mantle gently lay
where light and shadow interplay

Keep CHRIST in CHRIST-mas

Presents wrapped and food aplenty
Christmas festivities can be rather lengthy
Cards exchanged and carolers singing
tired shoppers and tills aringing
Drinks flowing as though from a river
With lots of kisses for the present giver
Overeaten and filled to the brim
drunks wish you "Merry Xmas" with a grin
It is the season when all are supposed to be jolly
yet discord is sown amongst families and friends
The madness of the season seems never to end
Wishing "Glad Tidings" to each other
and a time to remember,brothers,sisters,fathers and mothers
Joy to the world we lustily sing
But; aren't we forgetting the most important thing?
What Christmas means and all it should bring
Peace, joy and happiness to all mankind
Our Saviour was born upon this day
Celebrate it,yes we must
Just remember to keep CHRIST in "CHRIST"-mas

PASSION FOUND

I waited in the moonlight for your gentle footfall
You approached from the shadows
Offering your hand, I placed mine in yours
We walked along the beach, the scent of the night's flowers
heightened our senses to loves long awaited call.

Lost in thought, we strolled at a gentle pace
You stopped and pulled me close
I felt your heart beat; and with my fingers
traced the sinews of your taut muscles
that rippled beneath the invading fabric
Of your white silk shirt

You held me closer, I did not resist
I lost myself in your passionate kiss
My ears quickened to your harp-like tones
My heart followed and leapt as I involuntarily
whispered your name

My head was spinning, body inflamed
You got on your knees and gently eased
me down beside you.
Arms entwined around each other
locked in a death defying embrace

Your hands began to explore
Slowly tracing the contours of my form
Setting a fire deep within my core
You gently eased my blouse from
around my shoulders
setting free what was hidden

Your lips bore down and took control
and as your hands found the mound of Venus
You locked your thighs around my waist
fingers searching, seeking, finding every fold

I felt the blood coursing through your veins
So intense was our embrace
You my lover, my knight, my Thane
had taken a girl and brought her to
womanhood and quickened the pace

We were one body united in the dance
of what came naturally
losing ourselves in each other, no holding
back, no barriers to cross, our union took
whatever we had as substance
We had reached that magnificent peak of no return
And chorused together as our pleasure sent
muffled cries into the still moonlit night
fulfilled, we laid in each other's arms
our energies spent.

I lay awake for hours planning a lovers tryst

Your heart I feel I know is a place of love
If our love ever blossomed for all to see
Would require intervention from above

I had randomly picked you out of a crowd
Our eyes met, senses engaged,
our souls bridged the chasm of uncertainty
In an instant I became one of the beguiled
Reason had imprisoned itself in a cage

You were mine, I had made a pledge
And pictured in my mind
thoughts of carnal knowledge
My loins were fully awakened by your aura
I had tasted the righteous drink of Soma
It’s intoxicating flavour made me forget the truth
My feelings were converted into a ferocious brute

My obsession occupied my every waking moment
No longer in need of sleep or food or nourishment
I feasted on the visions of the mating of us instead
Anxiously plotting ways to be together in your bed
There I would satisfy my hunger and my greed
